Starting Young

Jason Aldean spent his youth learning how to play guitar from his father. They'd play together when his dad got home from work, and after a while, he was able to catch onto songs quickly after hearing them only a few times. His early influences include George Strait and Hank Williams, Jr. At his mother's encouragement, at age 14 he began playing at the local VFW hall where he lived in Georgia, entering into talent contests and playing at fairs. He joined the house band of a popular Georgia club at age 15. When you purchase Jason Aldean tickets at AC Tickets and see a live show, you'll have the opportunity to see a man who's been working toward his passion since he was just a child.

The Rise Up

After high school, Jason Aldean was encouraged by his father to perform at various locations with his band, and Aldean began writing songs with his bandmates. After performing original songs at a showcase in an Atlanta nightclub in 1998, they were approached by an executive at a song publishing company who signed Aldean and moved him to Nashville at age 21. Can you image having Jason Aldean tickets in your hand when he was that age? This and a few other attempts at a recording contract didn't pan out, but then he was spotted performing at a bar in Nashville and signed with his first manager. Less than two months later he was offered a record deal with Broken Bow Records, with whom he recorded five albums.

Aldean won Top New Male Vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006, and his debut album was certified platinum in 2007. He produced even more top ten hits with his next album, “Relentless,” released in 2007. His third album, “Wide Open”, was released in 2009 and brought forth hit singles such as “Big Green Tractor,” “The Truth”, and “She's Country”, all three of which reached number one on the charts. In 2010, he toured with Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, David Nail, Jake Owen, Uncle Kracker, and Love & Theft.
