There aren't many groups in country music that can claim the kind of unique sound that listeners will hear from Rascal Flatts. Not your average "twangy" country act, Rascal Flatts tickets have always been popular among college-age youth in the United States, as well as older adults who can identify with their sound. Technically considered a country-pop group, Rascal Flatts has not only been embraced by country music fans, but country music pundits stand behind the unique sound this group brings to the genre.

Racal Flatts formed in 1999 in Columbus, OH when second cousins Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus teamed up with Joe Don Rooney. The group originally recorded for Disney Music Group's Lyric Street Records for its first decade. As members of that record label, Rascal Flatts tickets experienced an initial wave of popularity. The group released seven albums for the label, all of which reached platinum status.
As with many other country music acts in the US, Rascal Flatts tickets were first sold for performances in and around Nashville, TN. Unlike many other country music acts, Rascal Flatts has a unique fanbase that is vastly younger than many other country artists. The core demographic for Rascal Flatts, as of September 2007, was identified as the 18-25 year old age group. More surprising than that, Rascal Flatts was ranked the sixth-most-popular musical group among children aged 10 to 12.
In a tip of the cap to its young fanbase, a good portion of profits from the sale of Rascal Flatts tickets go to support charities that benefit children. The group's primary charity is the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University. Speaking of tour success, Rascal Flatts tickets are one of the hottest items on the country music concert circuit.
The group enjoys a position as one of the most financially successful touring acts in the US. Just five years after the group formed, their 2005 tour grossed $26.3 million on the strength of 777,384 Rascal Flatts tickets sold for events that summer. The group's 2006 tour was even more successful with a gross of $46.2 million on the strength of more than one million Rascal Flatts tickets sold.
Over the years the group has set out on 15 tours with its 16 th tour currently in progress. The Rewind Tour features acts such as Sheryl Crow and Gloriana, and is being conducted in conjunction with the release of the group's ninth studio album entitled Rewind. The current concert tour series is the group's 11 th headlining tour during its 14 year career.
The Rewind Tour launched on 16 May 2014 in Maryland Heights, MS. Rascal Flatts tickets remain on sale a total of 35 shows on the tour. As the tour snakes across the country it will stop in big cities and small towns throughout North America, with three scheduled dates in Canada. As the tour gets underway the group will be looking to add to its impressive tally of Rascal Flatts tickets sold during the 21st century. Since 2004, there have been an estimated seven million Rascal Flatts tickets sold. This makes the group one of the top-selling acts in country music.
